NCT ID NCT04137692
First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study is for people with GLUT1 deficiency syndrome, a rare genetic condition that makes it hard for the brain to get enough sugar for energy, often causing seizures and movement problems. The trial will replace the patient's own red blood cells with healthy donor cells to see if this can improve brain activity. The main goal is to measure changes in brain waves and seizure frequency during and after the procedure.
