NCT ID NCT07175636

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests a new approach for people with locally advanced rectal cancer that is not responsive to immunotherapy alone. Participants first receive short-course radiation, then a combination of an experimental immunotherapy drug (QL1706) and chemotherapy. The goal is to shrink or eliminate the tumor before any planned surgery, potentially allowing some patients to avoid surgery altogether. About 66 adults will take part.
