Scientists track Cancer's response to treatment in real time

NCT ID NCT05524012

Summary

This study aims to develop better methods for monitoring how rectal cancer responds to chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Researchers will track 40 patients using repeated MRI scans and blood tests to detect cancer cells during their treatment. The goal is to create a model that can predict treatment effectiveness early, potentially allowing doctors to adjust therapy for better outcomes.
