NCT ID NCT07346248

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at 266 adults with advanced rectal cancer who had radiation therapy followed by surgery. It compares standard chemoradiotherapy or short-course radiotherapy with a newer approach called total neoadjuvant treatment (TNT). The goal is to see which method leads to fewer complications within 90 days after surgery, helping doctors choose the safest option.
