First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares giving chemotherapy before surgery versus after surgery for people with locally advanced rectal cancer who have a low risk of the cancer coming back in the same area. The goal is to see which timing helps patients live longer without the cancer returning. About 550 adults will take part, and the treatment uses a standard chemo combination called FOLFOX.
