New hope for High-Risk leukemia: phase 2 trial of recombinant erwinia asparaginase launches

Summary
This study tests a new version of the chemotherapy drug asparaginase (made from Erwinia bacteria) in adults aged 18–54 with high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia or lymphoblastic lymphoma. The drug is given alongside standard chemotherapy to see if it is safe and effective. About 53 participants will be enrolled at City of Hope Medical Center.
