Summary
This study looks at two common ways to restore blood flow to the heart in 600 minority patients with blocked arteries. One method uses a small tube (stent) inserted through the wrist or groin, while the other is open-heart bypass surgery using blood vessels from the chest or leg. The goal is to see which approach leads to better survival and quality of life over time.
