Summary
This study tests a computer program that gives real-time feedback to doctors to help them set breathing machines more safely for critically ill patients with lung injury or respiratory failure. About 208 adults on breathing machines will be randomly assigned to either standard care or the computer-guided approach. The goal is to see if the program helps achieve better lung-protective settings over the first three days.
