New drug cocktail shows promise against tough blood cancer

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of four chemotherapy drugs can improve blood test results in people with high-risk multiple myeloma, an aggressive blood cancer. About 17 adults aged 18 to 80 with newly diagnosed disease are participating. The goal is to see if the treatment can reduce cancer cells to undetectable levels and keep them away for at least a year.
