Summary
This study tests a training program that teaches doctors how to better talk with, listen to, and involve patients in their own care. About 180 doctors and their patients with high blood pressure will take part. The main goal is to see if the training is practical and acceptable, and whether it leads to better patient-centered communication and lower blood pressure.

Provider communication skills training program
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that training doctors in communication skills improves patient engagement and blood pressure control in primary care.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early feasibility study (180 participants) focused on whether the training can be delivered, not on proving it works. Results may not apply to other clinics or settings.
