Summary

This study aims to understand why myotonic dystrophy type 1 affects people so differently. Researchers will have 1,000 adults with DM1 do simple tests at home, like grip strength and memory games, and provide a blood sample for genetic analysis. The goal is to find better ways to measure the disease and learn what causes its wide range of symptoms.
