One-Minute heart scan for babies tested in new study

NCT ID NCT06281639

Summary

This study tested a new, portable ultrasound device called RAPID that takes a picture of a baby's heart in under a minute. Researchers compared the image quality from this new device to the standard heart ultrasound used in hospitals. The goal was to see if this faster, simpler device could be a helpful tool for doctors to detect congenital heart problems in infants.
