Summary
This study tested a treatment called radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for small breast tumors (under 2 cm). RFA uses heat to destroy cancer cells. The study included 30 women with early-stage breast cancer. The main goal was to see if RFA could completely eliminate the tumor, which was checked with MRI and biopsy. The study also looked at side effects and quality of life.
