Scientists test 'Tiny Warhead' to target and destroy advanced cancer cells
NCT ID NCT05204147
Summary
This is a first-in-human study to find a safe dose of a new experimental treatment for advanced cancers that produce a protein called CEA. The treatment is an antibody attached to a radioactive particle (Actinium-225) designed to seek out cancer cells and deliver radiation directly to them. The main goals are to check for side effects and see if the treatment can help control the cancer in patients who have run out of standard treatment options.
