New Low-Radiation heart imaging method tested for safety and clarity

NCT ID NCT06348875

First seen Nov 14, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether using very low radiation doses combined with special image-enhancing software can produce clear pictures of the heart's arteries. About 50 adults who need a standard heart artery X-ray will have extra low-radiation images taken and compared to the usual method. The goal is to see if this safer approach can still give doctors the information they need.
