Summary
This early-phase study tested the drug RAD001 (everolimus) together with radiation therapy in 26 people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that could not be removed by surgery. The goal was to find the safest dose and see how well the combination worked. Participants took RAD001 weekly or daily before, during, and after radiation, followed by standard chemotherapy.
