First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests two different programs to help pregnant women stop using both cigarettes and e-cigarettes. Researchers will enroll 45 low-income mothers-to-be from Western New York who are early in pregnancy. Participants will be placed into one of three groups: quitting both at once, quitting step-by-step, or standard care. The goal is to see which approach works best for achieving nicotine-free pregnancies.
