Can a common supplement protect your tiny blood vessels?
NCT ID NCT06683534
Summary
This study is testing whether quercetin, a natural supplement, can help protect and improve the function of tiny blood vessels in people with obesity. Researchers will enroll 40 obese adults aged 18-40 and measure their blood vessel responses before and after taking the supplement. They'll use small cameras under the tongue and monitors on the forearm to see how well blood vessels dilate and function.
