NCT ID NCT07329673
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is testing a digital app called QbMobile that measures attention, impulsivity, and activity levels through two 10-minute tests. Researchers want to see if the app can help distinguish ADHD from conditions like bipolar disorder, autism, depression, and anxiety. About 300 people aged 6 to 60 with suspected or diagnosed versions of these conditions will take the tests at a clinic and at home. The results will not affect their medical care but may lead to better diagnostic tools in the future.

- What this could lead to
- If successful, QbMobile could provide doctors with an objective tool to more accurately differentiate ADHD from other conditions with similar symptoms.
- What could go wrong
- This is an early-stage study focused on data collection, not treatment. The test results will not influence diagnosis or care, and it is unclear if the app will prove reliable enough for clinical use.
