Summary

This study tests whether pyridostigmine, a drug that boosts nerve signals, can help with constipation in people with Parkinson disease. Constipation is a common and frustrating symptom that often starts years before movement problems. The trial will measure changes in bowel movements and gut symptoms over four weeks. It involves 16 adults with Parkinson disease and chronic constipation.
