NCT ID NCT06457685

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a device called Pulse IVL that uses sound waves to break up hard calcium deposits in leg arteries, helping blood flow better in people with peripheral artery disease (PAD). About 115 adults with moderate to severe PAD will receive the treatment. The goal is to see if the device is safe and effective at opening blocked vessels, but it is not a cure and ongoing management may still be needed.
