New radiation technique offers hope for head and neck cancer patients with few options

NCT ID NCT06572423

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a personalized radiation therapy called PULSAR for people with head and neck cancer who cannot have or choose not to have standard treatment. The goal is to see if giving fewer, larger doses of radiation that adapt to changes in the body can better control tumors while causing the same or fewer side effects. About 43 adults will take part, and researchers will track how long it takes for the treated tumor to grow back and any serious side effects.
