Summary

This study looks at why young women with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) have a higher risk of heart disease later in life. Researchers will test if drinking beetroot juice, which is rich in nitric oxide, can improve blood vessel function. The study involves 30 premenopausal women ages 18-40 who have experienced trauma, with or without PTSD.
