First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at why young women with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) may have a higher risk of heart disease later in life. Researchers will test if drinking beetroot juice can improve blood vessel function in 30 premenopausal women who have experienced trauma. The goal is to understand how PTSD affects blood vessels, not to treat the condition itself.
