First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study compares two treatments for people who have both psoriasis and depression or anxiety. One group gets methotrexate alone, the other gets methotrexate plus an antidepressant (escitalopram). Over 6 months, researchers will measure changes in skin severity, quality of life, and mental health scores. The goal is to see if the combination leads to better outcomes for both conditions.
