Prostate cancer scan tested on breast tumors

NCT ID NCT04573231

Summary

This study is testing whether a special imaging scan, originally developed for prostate cancer, can detect a specific marker (PSMA) in certain types of advanced breast cancer. Researchers want to see if this marker can help predict which patients might not respond well to a common hormone therapy. About 15 people with a specific type of metastatic breast cancer will receive this scan to help gather this information.
