NCT ID NCT05322954

Summary

This early-stage study is checking if psilocybin, the active compound in 'magic mushrooms,' is safe and practical to use alongside psychological support for people with methamphetamine addiction. Twelve adults with meth addiction will receive two oral doses of psilocybin under medical supervision, with follow-up over several months. The main goal is to see if the treatment is safe and well-tolerated, while also tracking any changes in drug use and brain activity.
