New arthritis pill shows promise in Mid-Stage trial

Summary
This study tested a new daily pill called Proximod for people with active rheumatoid arthritis who weren't getting enough relief from standard medications. About 179 participants took either Proximod or a placebo pill for three months to see if it reduced joint swelling and pain. The goal was to find the right dose and see if this new approach could help control the disease.
