Summary
This study tested a new daily pill, Proximod, in 179 adults with moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis who did not get enough relief from standard treatments. Participants took either 5 mg, 10 mg, or a placebo for three months, with one month of follow-up. The goal was to see if Proximod reduces joint pain and swelling better than a placebo, and to check for side effects.
