This study aimed to see how well the Proxima 3 device measures oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other blood values compared to standard lab tests. It included 20 adult hospital patients who already had an arterial line. The goal was to check if the device gives fast and accurate results in rapidly changing clinical situations.
