First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jul 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests two medical creams containing urea (20% and 40%) on people with mild plaque psoriasis or non-pustular palmoplantar psoriasis. Each participant applies the cream to one affected area and leaves a similar area untreated for comparison. The goal is to see if the creams reduce plaque severity after 4 or 8 weeks. The trial is small (35 people) and not yet recruiting.

- Active substance
- PROXERA PSOMED 20 cream (20% urea) and PROXERA PSOMED 40 gel (40% urea)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, these creams could offer a simple, non-prescription option to reduce psoriasis plaques and palmoplantar symptoms.
