First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests if a weight loss program combined with a walking exercise plan helps people with peripheral artery disease (PAD) and overweight maintain or improve their walking ability better than walking exercise alone. About 212 adults with PAD and a BMI over 25 will take part. The program uses a special diet, mobile technology, and coaching to support weight loss and exercise over 12 months.
