New drug cocktail aims to supercharge immune attack on prostate cancer before surgery

Summary
This study tests whether giving a combination of drugs (enteric-coated aspirin, rintatolimod, and possibly interferon-alpha 2b) before prostate cancer surgery can help the immune system fight the tumor more effectively. About 12 men with early-stage prostate cancer who are scheduled for surgery will participate. The goal is to see if this pre-surgery treatment increases immune cells in the tumor and reduces the chance of cancer coming back.
