NCT ID NCT03899987

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of three drugs (enteric-coated aspirin, rintatolimod, and interferon-alpha 2b) can boost the immune system's ability to fight prostate cancer before surgery. About 12 men with localized prostate cancer who plan to have their prostate removed will participate. The goal is to see if this treatment increases immune cells in the tumor, potentially reducing the risk of cancer coming back.
