Heart attack risk in prostate cancer treatment: new trial seeks safer option

Summary
This study aims to find out which of two standard hormone therapy combinations is safer for the heart when treating advanced prostate cancer. It will enroll 72 men who are about to start radiation therapy and need hormone treatment. Researchers will use special heart scans and blood tests to compare the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and artery blockages between the two drug combinations.
