New drug combo targets aggressive prostate cancer spread

NCT ID NCT03821792

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of three medications can help control advanced prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. The trial involves 60 men with high-risk prostate cancer who haven't had extensive prior hormone treatment. Researchers will give participants three drugs daily for one year to block the hormones that fuel prostate cancer growth, while also checking if certain tumor markers can predict who will respond best.
