Summary
This study was designed to test a minimally invasive procedure that uses heat or cold to destroy small clusters of prostate cancer that have spread to other parts of the body. It was for patients who had already received initial treatment but whose cancer returned in a limited number of spots (1 to 5) and who could not have standard radiation therapy. The approach aimed to control the disease with fewer side effects and a quick recovery, but the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants.
