New study tests best sedation for breech baby turn

Summary

This study tests whether propofol sedation or spinal analgesia works better for external cephalic version, a procedure to turn a breech baby head-down. About 270 pregnant women with a non-head-first baby will be randomly assigned to one of the two pain relief methods. The goal is to see which approach leads to more successful turns and fewer emergency C-sections.
