First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This small, early-phase trial tested whether taking ibuprofen (a pain reliever) and ondansetron (an anti-nausea drug) before a medical abortion could reduce side effects and improve patient satisfaction. The study enrolled 8 healthy women undergoing abortion up to 70 days of pregnancy. The goal was to see if this preventive approach leads to a better overall experience.
