First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at 102 children who had surgery for congenital heart disease and needed a breathing tube afterward. Researchers tested three different head-elevated lying positions (10°, 30°, and 45°) to see which one best helps the heart and lungs recover and improves tolerance to tube feeding. The goal is to find a safe, simple way to speed up recovery in the intensive care unit.
