Summary

This study tests a culturally adapted diabetes education program for Arab Americans with type 2 diabetes. Participants will receive peer-led classes in Arabic and text message support for 3 months. The goal is to see if this approach improves diabetes knowledge, self-care, and blood sugar levels. About 48 adults from a community program will take part.
