New study uses MRI to see if prostate cancer radiation is working
NCT ID NCT06822491
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether early MRI scans can show if a prostate tumor is responding to a precise type of radiation therapy (SBRT). Researchers will compare MRI changes with PSA levels in 28 men with intermediate- to high-risk localized prostate cancer. The goal is to better understand how well the treatment works, not to test a new cure or drug.
