Gut health may boost stroke recovery: probiotic trial launches

Summary
This study tests whether taking probiotics can improve quality of life, daily activities, and anxiety in people who have had a moderate stroke. Researchers will enroll 110 adults aged 18 to 80 who had a stroke within the past 3 months. Participants will take probiotics and be monitored using questionnaires about their well-being and independence.
