Summary
This study tested whether a probiotic supplement containing Lactobacillus plantarum could help women who often get urinary tract infections (UTIs) have fewer repeat infections. The trial planned to enroll 106 women with a history of recurrent UTIs, but it was terminated early. The goal was to see if the probiotic could reduce UTI recurrence and improve vaginal health.
