Can a daily probiotic tame midlife acne and inflammation?
NCT ID NCT07341087
Summary
This study is exploring whether a daily probiotic drink can help improve immune function and reduce skin inflammation in women going through perimenopause. For eight weeks, 30 participants with acne will drink either a probiotic or a skimmed milk control. Researchers will measure immune health, skin condition, and overall wellbeing to see if this non-hormonal approach offers benefits.
