NCT ID NCT05568498
Summary
This study is testing whether a daily probiotic supplement can help reduce depression in people who have Parkinson's disease. About 60 participants with mild to moderate Parkinson's and depression will take either the probiotic or a placebo pill for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in depression, anxiety, fatigue, and overall quality of life to see if the probiotic helps.
