Summary

This study tests whether a probiotic called Bacillus coagulans can reduce anxiety and depression in people with functional dyspepsia (a condition causing stomach pain and discomfort without a clear cause). The trial will include 180 adults aged 18-80 who have mild to moderate anxiety or depression. Participants will take either the probiotic or a placebo for 4 weeks, alongside standard stomach medication, and researchers will measure changes in mood and digestive symptoms.
