First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a daily probiotic drink can help reduce skin inflammation and improve immune function in women going through perimenopause. Thirty women aged 40-50 with acne will drink either a probiotic or a placebo for eight weeks. Researchers will measure immune aging, inflammation, and skin health to see if this simple, non-hormonal approach offers relief.
