First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This Phase 2 trial is testing an experimental drug called PRL3-zumab in 51 people with advanced solid tumors that cannot be removed by surgery or have spread. The drug is given as an IV infusion every two weeks. The main goal is to see how long the cancer stays under control and whether tumors shrink.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

PRL3-zumab

What this could lead to

If successful, this could provide a new treatment option for people with advanced solid tumors that have not responded to other therapies.

What could go wrong

This is an early Phase 2 trial with only 51 participants, so results may not apply to all patients. The drug may not shrink tumors or improve survival, and side effects are still being studied.
