First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This early-phase study tested a new treatment approach for people with advanced liver cancer that can be surgically removed. Participants were to receive focused radiation therapy along with two immunotherapy drugs (tremelimumab and durvalumab) to help the immune system fight the cancer. The main goals were to check if the combination is safe and whether it shrinks tumors enough to improve surgery outcomes. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants.
