Summary

This trial investigates whether adding a simple blood test (NT-proBNP) and a quick heart ultrasound (POCUS) to standard care helps doctors diagnose heart failure more accurately in people aged 50 and older. Participants are randomly assigned to receive standard care alone or with one or both of these tests. The study aims to see if these tools lead to more diagnoses and earlier, more effective treatment.
